We are back on the road in 2022. Hot on the heels of a successful trip to Portugal, we are planning the fifth Football Weekends break – this time to southern Sweden!

Yes, we are lining up a trip at the beginning of July. We now have packages available for 3, 4 or 5 nights so it's whatever works for you.

3 night Package

  (single supplement £165)

  All packages will allow time on Sunday to explore the region of southern Sweden and nearby Denmark including Malmo and Copenhagen OR see another top flight game at Varberg approx 2-2.5 hours by train from Helsingborg.

  A third division match within 1 hour of Helsingborgis is also available on Saturday lunchtime.

How does a Football Weekends trip work? 

It’s a group break but there will be plenty of opportunities to do your own thing. There will be a welcome gathering, we will attend the matches together,, but the rest of the time is your own – feel free to spend it with other members of the party or do your own thing. Explore the area of southern Sweden, cross the sea to Denmark, enjoy the nightlife, visit other stadiums in the region. Your choice!

Our previous trips have attracted a wide age group, united with a common love of football and travel.

We need to wait for confirmation of exact fixture times for this trip but there will be the chance to see a minimum of three games, possibly four.

How do I get to Southern Sweden?

Copenhagen Airport is the best gateway to southern Sweden. It has many regular flights daily from UK and Irish Airports. The airport has its own railways station that connects directly to Southern Sweden across the Oresund Bridge.

You’ll want to choose the best flight routes and times that work for you so we let you make your own arrangements: flights are not included in this package. However, we can make and book flights for you if you wish (we simply add a handling commission to the flight price).

We would advise that your outbound flight should arrive in Copenhagen by early afternoon.
