Yes, it's a first ever visit for us to the land of Total Football, a nation that is as passionate about the beautiful game as we are. Experience it live with us!
We'll be staying close to the capital Amsterdam for a long weekend starting Friday, September 26 that includes a match at the Johann Cryuff Arena to see the legendary European giants Ajax* in action. We will also see two more domestic fixtures.
Plus, if you'd like to stay an extra night, we'll take in a fourth match in the Dutch second division.
You can fly to Amsterdam from many airports in the UK and Ireland - if you prefer, take the train: if there's enough interest we'll also arrange a group booking on Eurostar for the four-hour trip from London to the Dutch capital.

* Fancy the Netherlands but have already visited Ajax? You're still welcome to join us, and attend an alternative match on that day if you wish (we would revise price accordingly). Just mention it when registering your interest.

The Netherlands is one of the easiest destinations to reach. Take the plane - or would you prefer the train to take the strain?
If enough are interested in going by train we will arrange a small group booking on Eurostar, travelling from London on Friday at 11.04am and returning from Amsterdam on Tuesday at 1.40pm. The price will be approximately £160pp return.
But of course people may travel from all over the UK and Ireland where flying is naturally easier. Here's just a selection of flight departures to Amsterdam Schiphol on Friday, September 26 to consider. Round trips, returning on Monday and Tuesday, are readily available from £90-£150. We let you make your own arrangements. From the airport to our hotel, a return rail journey will cost less than 20 euros.
Interested in a Football Weekends trip but unsure what to expect?
We can tell you it's a relaxed weekend, with the chance to watch football and visit a new destination in the company of fellow football supporters. Our parties are a mix of solo travellers, friends and couples so everyone's welcome - aged 18 to 80+. There is an itinerary but there is always some time built in to do your own thing. And we take the hassle out of organising tickets and travel!
There's plenty of football but there's also the time to explore new destinations - and of course relax with a local meal and a beer or two!
