Love football passion? Join us for a weekend of football like no other in Poland!
Our next Football Weekends group trip takes us to southern Poland and the vibrant city of Katowice. Over a long weekend we'll see at least three matches - maybe more - across the leagues, that may take in everything from matches in modern stadiums to games in grounds from the communist era!
Polish football culture is among the most passionate you'll find in Europe, and Katowice is in the country's traditional footballing heartland with a host of clubs on the doorstep. Clubs we may visit for matches include communist era giants Gornik Zabrze and Ruch Chorzow - maybe GKS Katowice, Odra Opole, or Polonia Bytom and even more obscure destinations in the lower leagues!
The trip runs from Friday, May 9 to Monday, May 12 but there's the opportunity to extend your stay by a further night to explore the region and a possible Monday evening fixture. Matches will be chosen after the schedule is confirmed and will feature a selection across the divisions.
Katowice is easily reached from both Katowice and Krakow Airports, that both have several connections from the UK and Ireland.
